flavorpill: The PizzaTaco was created in 1965 by Charlie Hoffman in Pratt, Kansas. The design was a mixture of a baked pizza with the style of a taco. A precisely baked crust with fresh ingredients and Charlie’s homemade sauce made the PizzaTaco a hit with the residents of Pratt, Kansas. Soon Charlie offered other menu items like the PizzaPup, PizzaRaft, and PizzaLog, all original creations using the freshest ingredients, Charlie’s original sauce, and all baked to perfection. Now, Charlie’s PizzaTaco plans on expanding by opening the first location outside of Pratt, now in Wichita, KS.
